A protocol for play, expression & connection
a photo booth turns strangers into collaborators and gives everyone permission to be a little ridiculous.
The Protocol · 5 steps

Set the stage
a backdrop, some light, a few props. lower the bar for looking good and raise the bar for having fun.
2
Pair people up
solo shots are shy. two or more people in frame gives everyone something to play off of.

Prompt the play
give a silly prompt. “you just won the lottery,” “you're a superhero at rest.” the prompt does the work.

Capture the in-between
the best shot is usually right after the posed one, when everyone breaks and laughs. keep shooting.

Share it back
get the photos to people afterward. a shared image is a tiny artifact of belonging.
Run it: next event you're at, grab two people and take one deliberately silly photo. watch the wall come down.
